Bushbaby rescue

Sometimes things don’t go as planned in the bush and we’re just lucky to be in a certain place at a certain time. It had been storming heavily during the night, with quite a wind, something that affects all animals, especially the smaller ones – in this case a young bushbaby! We found it on the ground, wet, cold and barely able to move. To give the little creature a second chance at life, we took it in temporarily, dried it off and warmed it up. And of course took plenty of photos – it’s not every day you get to hold something as rare and adorable as a bushbaby. Once the weather had cleared we released the little one close to the nest and within a couple of hours he was gone. Hopefully he stays strong throughout the summer!
