Wild dog youngsters on the hunt

The wild dog pups have grown up quite considerably since we last saw them. They are now highly mobile and it is quite rare to catch even a glimpse of them these days. We were lucky to find them again just after they had hunted an impala – the youngsters are now joining their parents on the hunt, learning how to survive in the wild. Although they are getting bigger and stronger, they still have that inquisitive side to them and of course it’s great to seeing them playing around  – especially when, after some rain, they were splashing about in the puddles and the wet long grass. But their play was short lived as the parents decided they had spent enough time in one area and they had to move off again.
