The old alpha lioness of the northern pride who broke away from her pride when she did not return after having a litter of cubs has now joined up with her adult daughter. The alpha female has four cubs from her most recent litter and her daughter two. The two lionesses together with their six cubs (see photo) now form a pride with the dominant male we call Scar. They are venturing further into her old territory (which includes KwaMbili) and have been seen close to camp recently. Their nightly calls delight us all!
