A new male lion has come into the Thornybush Game Reserve and established himself in the central area of the reserve. He recently encountered the male that controls the north of the reserve and had already encountered the male from the south of the reserve – and after more than a week he is still here! Hopefully he will stay and keep control of the central area of the reserve and gain his own pride in the process. It will be interesting to see what happens in the next weeks – whether he manages to start a new pride or fights one of the resident males for his pride.
